LGV DRIVING ASSESSORS COURSE |

1) 2 HOUR LGV DRIVING ASSESSMENT -
This assessment is designed to determine candidates standard of driving and suitability for the course. It covers a test of the candidates driving techniques and will include all elements of the practical LGV test.
With the assessment being more advanced that the normal LGV driving assessment, a very high standard of competence is required. Candidates must show that they have a thorough knowledge of the principles of good driving and road safety and that they can apply them in practice.
After this initial assessment, if the instructor feels that the candidate is unsuitable to carry on with the full course, a report will be processed giving the reasons.
2) 5 DAY TRAINING COURSE (maximum of 2 candidates)
The aim of this course is to provide tuition by our qualified instructor on the following points:
· Personal driving standard · Fault identification · Fault analysis · Vocabulary & Phraseology · Directional Instruction · Report writing
During the course, candidates are continually assessed against the criteria and are given a pass / fail result at the end of the course.
NB: All candidates must be in possession of an appropriate licence for the vehicle type. |
